Since making my first loan, while on the side of a mountain in Afghanistan, I have built a successful private lending company, raising millions of investor capital and deploying that capital in loans, secured to real estate. WHO I AM
I believe being a faithful man who follows after Jesus Christ, a devoted husband, a dedicated father, and a patriot makes me a better fund manager and businessman. I ensure my priorities stay right by keeping high accountability in my life with other men of faith and business. This life stance overflows into every aspect of my business and makes me the veteran fund manager, my partners trust.

Many investors think when they invest in a fund, they are investing in either a mortgage fund (debt) or a syndication (equity). It always seems to be either or, never both. Through the years of developing underwriting, fine-tuning deal analysis and intimately knowing how to mitigate mine and my partners risk, I am launching one of the only and most unique hybrid funds there is. By offering both Debt and Equity investment to my partners, I am changing the often compartmentalized and stale alternative investment space. 01. FAITH & FAMILY
What profits a man if he gains the whole world, yet loses his soul? While this biblical verse is speaking of eternal issues, I believe it can be applied to the area of a man and his career. Family is of the utmost importance to me, and I love spending time with my family, both immediate and extended.
02. TRAVEL & FOOD
My wife is from the beautiful country of Colombia and we love visiting her home. We also enjoy food, I’m a foodie at heart, so travel bestows upon us the privilege of experiencing culture through food. My wife and love to cook, and we travel the world when we cook. We enjoy dishes from Japan, Thailand, India, Isreal, Morocco, Greece, Italy, Peru, Mexico, and of course Colombia!
03. CIGARS & WHISKEY
There is nothing more relaxing and enjoyable than a “puro” (Spanish for Cigar) and a glass of Bourbon or Whiskey. Some of my favorite Cigars are Arturo Fuente’s Grand Cathedral House Blend, the Deadwood Tobacco Company line, Southern Draw line, and Cultivate 435 Cigars. My favorite Bourbons and Whiskey are Jack Daniels No 7., Gentleman Jack, Single Barrel Jack, Blantons, Makers Mark, Pappy Van Winkle, and Laphroaig.
04. MILITARY & THE 2nd AMENDMENT
Having served in the US Army as an Infantryman, and a Combat Diver Green Beret, I am passionate about the Right to “Keep and Bear Arms”. I enjoy teaching and training others to appreciate this right and of course I love heading to the range and keeping that trigger finger loose.
